Clive Woodward is passionate about the power of impactful and experiential training to empower organisations, teams, and individuals to reach their full potential. His approach is empathetic, friendly, encouraging and where appropriate challenging. He finds the work both rewarding and enjoyable. His life and business experience adds gravitas to all training programs.

Clive started his working life as a professional actor having been to drama school at The Arts Ed in London.

Following six years as a professional actor he pursued a very successful career in sales. Initially he sold advertising space for a range of publications before moving into the IT Industry, selling integrated business solutions to a wide range of major organisations. Sales success, which included winning trips abroad to places such as America, China, Greek Islands and Hawaii for outstanding sales achievements, led to promotion to sales management and sales director positions. Responsibilities included managing sales and customer support teams to provide exceptional customer service for new and existing clients.

In 2007 Clive wanted a change of career direction and returned to acting and related work which led to undertaking role-play and facilitation assignments for Ashridge Hult Executive Education. This has continued now for 17 years.

The reward and satisfaction of adding value to so many delegates on various courses led to his focus on communication skills training.

Clive has worked with organisations such as The Academy of Medical Sciences, Expleo, EY, Hogan Lovells, J.P. Morgan, KPMG, London Underground, NHS Trusts, The Metropolitan Police, The Office of National Statistics and Tetra Pak.

Clive is a former national motor racing champion, performs poetry at theatres, retirement villages and care homes and undertakes live commentary duties at Castle Combe Racing Circuit.
